Updated Roster Tracker

Linebacker Leo Chenal represents the Free Agency signings so far: Younger and Faster. HIs Relative Athletic Score at the Combine was the third-highest ever for a Linebacker since this was tracked starting in 1987. HIs Explosion Index was over 80. Elite level is anything over 70.

In brief the WFT got younger, faster, and more athletic during the first week of Free Agency.

Youth Movement

There have been a slew of new signings. One thing is common; youth. The only Free Agent signed who is 30-years old is Wide Receiver Van Jefferson. Expect more signings and departures during the second week of Free Agency. Washington is setting the table for “Best Player Available” at the Draft. There’s a lot to talk about as this roster continues to take shape.

Conventional wisdom was that a roster was assembled at Training Camp. No longer. The roster is assembled now in March and April. Training Camp is for installs and rehearsals.

For the moment here is the updated Roster Tracker. We’ll start to break down the various position group rooms in a bit as more things take shape.
